Can I compress a video without losing quality?
Technically no — all compression discards some data. But at CRF 18-23, most viewers cannot tell the difference from the original. For truly lossless compression, you would need to use a lossless codec which produces much larger files.
Why is my compressed video still too large for WhatsApp?
